Operation Youth and the Valley of the Moon Teen Center are hosting their second annual Teen Job & Career Fair on Saturday, May 8th, 9am- 12 noon at the Sonoma Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium. Teens, ages 13 though 20 are invited to meet with local businesses and non-profits of Sonoma Valley to discuss summer job and/or career opportunities.

Sonoma Businesses and Non-Profits - We need your participation! Local businesses and non-profits are urged to participate in our annual job & career fair. Our teen attendees are ambitous, eager to learn, many are bi-lingual, and all are ready to interview for your opportunities and learn more about your industry’s career opportunities.

For business owners with no current plans to hire teens, the teens of Sonoma Valley are interested in learning about your business and long term career opportunities in your industry. Your advice that day will be invaluable as Sonoma youth plan for their future. Investing your time in the youth of Sonoma Valley is is an investment towards the economic future of Sonoma Valley.

For non-profits many youth of Sonoma Valley are interested in volunteer opportunities within the community. All Sonoma Valley High School students are required to perform volunteer community service as part of their graduation requirements. Our Job and Career fair is an excellent way of meeting the potential volunteers for your non-profit service.

Donations to defer the cost of the event would be greatly appreciated. Gold sponsors of $100 or more will be provided preferred advertising on event material and will be offered preferred booth placement at the event.
